About the presenter:
George Keepers, M.D., R’ 81, is the Elda V. Carruthers Professor of Psychiatry and chair of psychiatry at the OHSU School of Medicine. He graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in 1977 and completed his residency training at OHSU in 1981. After residency, he spent two years in the National Health Service Corps at the Warm Springs Indian Reservation before joining OHSU faculty. Keepers served as chief of inpatient psychiatry at Portland VA Medical Center and director of OHSU’s psychiatry residency program. He is currently director of OHSU’s Complex Neuropsychiatry Clinic and director of the Adult Attention Deficit Disorder Clinic. His clinical and research interests are in the field of neuropsychiatry.
